Lauren holds a B.A. in Government and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations cum laude from Harvard University. She advises the international corporate compliance and arbitration departments at Hegazy and Partners and assists in translating documents.
Her working languages are English, Arabic, French, and Spanish. She has intermediate proficiency in German.
Corporate Compliance: Assisting international clients with corporate structuring and labor issues in East Africa and the OHADA regions. She has drafted service agreements, employment agreements, and consultancy agreements for several international clients.
Banking and Finance: Lauren has advised banks on Loan Facilities Agreements, Reviewed Conditions Precedent (CPs), assisting with negotiations between banks and SMEs for M&A activity.
International Litigation:Lauren assists international clients in preparing for litigation in the United States and Canada. She also advises clients on family law issues such as inheritance, wills, and trusts. Additionally, she assists clients with academic integrity disputes.
Arbitration: Lauren has assisted in drafting memoranda and completing submissions for international commercial arbitration.
