Mr. Ahmed Adel

Ahmad Edris is a Junior Associate at Hegazy & Partners with experience in litigation, arbitration, legal advisory, and corporate matters. He holds a Bachelor of Law from Cairo University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Litigation Logistics and Dispute Settlement at AASTMT. Ahmad specializes in litigation, representing clients such as Starwood, RATP, and Ritz Carlton in tax appeals and labor disputes before various courts. He is also involved in arbitration cases, preparing legal memorandums and managing procedural compliance before the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA). Beyond litigation, Ahmad provides legal advice in both Arabic and English, handles corporate matters such as incorporations and contract drafting, and represents international hotel management companies before regulatory authorities. His expertise extends to handling petitions, legal declarations, and corporate governance matters, making him a well-rounded legal professional with a strong focus on dispute resolution.

Mr. Mahmoud Hamrouch

Mahmoud Hamrouch is a trilingual corporate, litigation, and arbitration lawyer at Hegazy & Partners, with extensive experience in legal advisory, contract drafting, and dispute resolution. He holds a Master of Laws in Public Law from Jean Moulin University (Lyon III) and dual Bachelor of Laws degrees from Paris I University (Pantheon Sorbonne) and Cairo University. Mahmoud specializes in litigation, representing clients in commercial disputes in Egypt and overseeing cases with local counsels abroad, including in Gabon. He conducts in-depth case file studies, legal research in Egyptian, Moroccan, and Gabonese law, and drafts legal memorandums, notices, warnings, and appeal memos. He also attends first-instance court hearings, manages administrative court procedures, and files lawsuits with the General Prosecutor. In arbitration, Mahmoud is involved in case preparation, legal research on substantive and international law, and drafting and submitting arbitration memos at CRCICA. He also assists in enforcing arbitral awards before Egyptian courts. Beyond litigation and arbitration, Mahmoud provides legal counsel on corporate and regulatory matters, intellectual property, countertrade, import/export licensing, and labor law in Egypt and Morocco. Ms. Nahla Mohsen

Mr. Hassan Abo Hashima

Mr. Zaki Hassan

His practice also includes representing corporate clients before the administrative courts. Mr. Zaki also advocates on behalf of clients before Egypt’s family court system. He has represented clients in labor disputes and reviewed employment agreements. Mr. Zaki’s strengths include developing case strategies, writing defense memoranda, and drafting contracts. Mr. Zaki's main areas of expertise include Labor Disputes, Commerical and Criminal Litigation, and Family Law.

Ms. Lauren Williams

Ms. Lauren holds a B.A. in Government and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations cum laude from Harvard University. She advises the international Corporate Compliance and Arbitration departments at Hegazy and Partners and assists in translating and reviewing documents. Lauren specializes in ensuring the compatibility of foreign policies and regulations with the applicable Egyptian laws. Her experience includes assisting international clients with corporate structuring and labor issues in East Africa and the OHADA regions, advising banks on Loan Facilities Agreements, due diligence in preparation or cross-jurisdictional M&As, and guiding international clients in preparing for litigation in the United States and Canada. She also advises clients on family law issues such as inheritance, wills, and trusts. Lauren has assisted in drafting memoranda and completing submissions for international commercial arbitration.

Mr. Mohamed Selim

Mr. Selim obtained his LLB from the Faculty of Law (English Section), Cairo University. He assists his clients in reviewing and drafting commercial agreements such as technology transfer, share sale and purchase, shareholders agreements, service agreements, manufacturing, franchising agreements and others. As a plus, he has wide experience in establishing all kinds of companies and advising on the regulatory and compliance regulations and requirements in Egypt. He is also specialized in preparing all documents needed for duly convening board and shareholders meetings and handles all required procedures up until their ratification by the competent authorities.

Dr. Mohamed Abo Ghazala

Dr. Mohamed Abo Ghazala is a senior legal expert with over 17 years of experience advising clients on commercial transactions and disputes across Egypt and the MENA region. Dr. Abo Ghazala has PhD (Doctor of Philosophy in Law) from Ain-Shams University. Along with two master’s degrees, one in administrative science from Cairo University, And the other in Public Law (LLM) from Helwan University. He served as a legal technical director for international investments under the Presidential Initiative for the Development of Egyptian Industry (EBDA). His expertise includes M&A, joint ventures, private equity, and commercial contracts. He regularly advises on company establishment, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. Dr. Abo Ghazala has sufficient experience to give legal advice on corporate and regulatory matters such as License renewals, board and general assembly procedures, and filings with Egyptian ministries.

He has also represented clients in high value civil and commercial claims, as well as bankruptcy and investment disputes before the Cairo Economic Court. Dr. Nassef achieved his LLB from Tanta University, Egypt, along with LLM in General Law from Cairo University and a Doctorate in Law from Monofeya University. He is a member of the Egyptian Society of International Law, the Egyptian Human Rights Society, and the Egyptian Association for Political Economy & Legalization.
