Biography

Pierre Farahat is a multilingual legal associate registered with the Egyptian Bar Association, specializing in litigation, and international legal practice. He holds dual law degrees from Cairo University - French Department - and Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne University, as well as advanced master’s degrees in business law and public law of strategic and business Sectors from Paris I and Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University.

Pierre’s litigation expertise spans civil, commercial, and labor disputes. He has represented clients in rescission and delivery cases, disputes involving installment suspension until delivery, and order for payment proceedings related to checks. His labor law practice includes unfair dismissal claims, profit distribution mechanisms, and annual prescription periods. He has also filed compensation claims challenging inadequate awarded damages, managed various types of compensation disputes, and litigated matters involving mutual agency obligations under commercial law.

Pierre is proficient in drafting appeals and legal memoranda, as well as drafting complex agreements such as loan contracts, settlement agreements, and special powers of attorney for waiver and settlement. He has also advised on high-profile compensation cases related to agricultural land seizures.

In addition, Pierre has arbitration experience through assisting in commercial disputes and attending sessions at the Cairo Regional Center. His recent representative matters include assisting in a commercial arbitration dispute regarding compensation claims, furthermore, his practice extends to sports law, having recently handled a compensation case involving a player's unilateral and premature termination of a contract without the club's consent. His background also includes international trade law, making him a versatile legal professional with both local and international expertise.
